Guarantees, Testing & The Help Desk

Real guarantees
for the real world.

A calculation-based exam. Unlimited retakes with human feedback. A 6-
month seat transfer if a team member leaves. And a Help Desk built for the
edge cases that show up after you pass.

Real guarantees

Turnover happens. Most training companies treat that as your problem.

You invest in training a sharp underwriter, build them up over three months, and they walk out the door to a competitor. Most training companies treat that as your problem. You paid for the seat, they delivered the content, and that is where their responsibility ends.

We do not operate that way.

If a team member leaves within six months of enrolling in the WCTP, send us an email. We will transfer the seat to a new hire at no cost. One transfer per original seat purchased. You keep your department moving forward without paying twice for the same training.

Our Commitment

What you get

  • The exam: A rigorous, multiple-choice exam. We give you feedback on the questions you miss so you know where you need to brush up before you try again.
  • Unlimited retakes: Test until you pass. Targeted human feedback on every attempt.
  • 6-month seat transfer: If a team member leaves within 6 months of enrollment, transfer the seat to a replacement at no charge.
  • 30-day money-back: If the technical depth does not meet your standard, we refund your money.
  • The Help Desk: $29/month for graduates — AI chatbot trained on state statutes, quarterly webinars, continuous course access.

The Exam: Show Your Work

Most insurance designations work like this: watch a video, click "C," print a certificate.

The test is a formality, and everyone involved knows it.

The WCTP is different.

To earn this designation, you have to prove you can work the math. The final exam puts you inside an actual scenario and asks you to calculate the impact of a specific claim on an experience mod. You will need to know your primary thresholds, your D-ratios, and how the ERA applies in the relevant jurisdiction.

Our advice: show every step. If you enter a wrong final number without any supporting work, we cannot help you. If you lay out your process and we see that you understood the mechanics but dropped a digit on the split point calculation, we give you partial credit and specific feedback. You can retake the exam as many times as you need. If you put in the work, we will get you across the finish line.

The Help Desk

Earning the WCTP is not the finish line. It is where the real work starts.

Rating bureau manuals get updated. State laws change. New NCCI circular letters come out and shift the rules on classifications you thought you had cold. You are going to run into edge cases — a weird combinability question, a disputed clerical classification, a cancel-rewrite that nobody on your team has seen before — and you are going to need a direct line to someone who has seen it.

That is what the Help Desk is built for.

For $29 a month, your access to the Institute does not end when you pass the exam. You get an AI chatbot trained specifically on state-by-state workers’ comp statutes, plus quarterly webinars where we tear through real-world audit disputes and mod errors — anonymized, documented, and built for practitioners who want to stay current.

Attend the webinars live or watch the recordings. Every one you complete earns a credit toward your two-year designation renewal. Stack 10 credits and the WCTP renews automatically.

You take the work seriously. So do we.
