By accessing or using WorkCompTechPro.com (the “Site”) or enrolling in any Institute of WorkComp Professionals (“IWCP,” “we,” “us”) course or credentialing program (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Services. You must be at least 18 years old to enroll. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
Plain English Summary: We provide online training and credentialing programs for workers’ compensation professionals (WCTP, CWCA, CWCS, MWCA). We do our best to keep the Site and course materials available, but we can’t guarantee zero downtime.
IWCP provides workers’ compensation training, coursework, and credential examinations to insurance and claims industry professionals. We make reasonable efforts to keep the Site and course platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
3. User Accounts and Responsibilities
Plain English Summary: Accessing a course requires an individual account. Keep your login to yourself — each license is for one person, and sharing your login with someone who hasn’t purchased the course isn’t allowed. You’re responsible for anything that happens under your account.
Course access requires account registration. You agree to provide accurate information, maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials, and accept responsibility for all activity under your account. Each course license is issued to a single named individual. You may not share your login credentials with, or otherwise grant course access to, any person who has not separately purchased or been licensed for the course. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including accounts used to provide unauthorized access to others.
4. Payment Terms

Payments are processed by our third-party order-processing partner, Keap, at bigideas.infusionsoft.app. Where an installment plan is offered, payments will be automatically charged to your payment method on file until paid in full. Refund policy: we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
Plain English Summary: All course materials, the WCTP/CWCA/CWCS/MWCA curriculum, and the Site itself belong to us. You get a personal license to use them for your own learning — not to copy, resell, or redistribute them.
All course content, curriculum, trademarks (including WCTP, CWCA, CWCS, and MWCA), and Site materials are owned by IWCP or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access course materials for your personal professional development. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, resell, or create derivative works from our materials without written permission.
6. Prohibited Uses
Plain English Summary: Don’t use the Site or courses for anything illegal, don’t share your course access with others, don’t scrape or resell our content, and don’t try to break our systems.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Our data practices are described in our Privacy Policy. EEA/UK users have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and may lodge complaints with their local Data Protection Authority. California residents have rights to know, delete, and opt out of sale of personal information under CCPA — we do not sell personal information.
8. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IWCP’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including natural disasters, pandemics, or government action.
9. Indemnification
Plain English Summary: If your misuse of the Services causes us to get sued, you agree to cover our reasonable costs.
You agree to indemnify and hold IWCP harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party’s rights.
10. Termination

11. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before filing a claim, both parties agree to attempt informal resolution by contacting the other party and allowing 30 days to resolve the dispute. Confirm with counsel whether to add a binding arbitration clause (e.g., AAA rules) with a class-action waiver, or to proceed via courts located in North Carolina.
12. Changes to Terms
Plain English Summary: We may update these Terms. If we make a material change, we’ll post the update here with a new date. Continuing to use the Services after that means you accept the new Terms.
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last Updated” date on this page. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
13. General Provisions
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and IWCP regarding the Services. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
